Imagine having all eyes on you when singing next time in front of your pupils, choir, family or karaoke audience and hitting all the notes at the right pitch?
The Sawti app is designed to take beginners by the hand to see rapid results on your path to successful, confident singing. Exercises are tailored to your voice so you feel comfortable throughout your singing journey.
Learning to sing is super easy: We use the well-known “Hit the bar” concept where the ball moves with the pitch of your voice - in real time! Make sure to hit the bars to successfully finish an exercise. You will start with single tones, followed by easy phrases and songs as well as rhythm exercises.

Sawti, which means “My voice” in Arabic, was initially developed in order to help hundreds of young music teachers in Jordan, where training is not easily available. It is the first and only app based on the “wirth method”, the educational concept by Prof. Gerald Wirth, Artistic Director of the Vienna Boys’ Choir.

EDUCATIONAL CONCEPT
The wirth method is a general music education based on singing, specifically choral singing.
It combines best practice of traditional music teaching and develops it further, defining specific contents and elements essential for highest standards. These are taught using a set of conveying pillars, applying adequate tools to meet classroom situations.
While music lessons still need to be prepared, the wirth method introduces highly flexible and readily available ways of reacting to students’ triggers, lack of attention and other challenges.
Singing and performing from the very beginning are at the core of the wirth method. It aims at keeping the children’s attention at the highest level through a constant interaction between the teacher and the pupils. Children learn to cooperate for a better result.
The happiness achieved through success from the very start leaves an inestimable impact on the children.
ABOUT PROF. GERALD WIRTH
Gerald Wirth received his first musical training as a member of the Vienna Boys Choir and at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria, where he studied voice, oboe and piano. In 2001, he became artistic director of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, in 2013, its president.
From 1986 to 1989, Wirth was a choirmaster of the Vienna Boys Choir, in charge of one of the four touring choirs. Between 1989 and 1991, he was chorus master of the Salzburg opera house. In Canada, he held the posts of artistic director of the Calgary Boys’ Choir and musical director of the Calgary Civic Symphony. Wirth has conducted choirs and orchestras all over the world, and he can get practically anyone and anything to sing. Wirth’s first love is the human voice.
