(1) General Information :
1. Francis Sr. Sec. School is a Christian Minority School established in the Catholic Diocese of Bareilly and administered by the Assisi Charitable Society registered under the Societies Registration Act XII of 1960.
2. Francis Sr. Sec. School was founded in 1998 with the objective of imparting modern education to the children.
3. The School situated in Pithoragarh Road, one of the beautiful and healthiest parts of Tanakpur.

The Franciscan vision of Education is:
“Formation of persons with moral uprightness, social responsibility and pursuit of excellence”
The vision is drawn from the teaching of Jesus Christ our Divine Master, St. Francis of Assisi the Patron of our school and Rev. Dr. ZACHARIAS VAZHAPILLY D.D. the founder of our Society. It also drives inspiration from the sages and prophets of our own land and is deeply rooted in its values and culture.
(3)Objectives:
The school aims at the integral development of every child, to make him/her committed to the service of God and of the Nation. Hence right from the beginning it gears at an integral formation i.e. character, intellectual, moral physical and social, of the young who in turn will build up our nation in justice and truth respecting the dignity of each individual person. For the attainment of this goal the school expects parents and teachers to share this objective and to co-operate in making it a reality.

• Personal grow- intellectual, moral, physical, psychological and social.
• Progressive and holistic development of the child-fully human, wholly Indian, truly modern.
• Fun filled and exciting experiences of learning.
• Self discipline through moral instructions.

• Power of expression through public speaking, debates, dramatics, elocution, extempore, music and creative writing.
• Prepare the students for future career.
• Shaping citizens who serve society with confidence and dignity.
