Sipindo merupakan aplikasi hasil kerjasama antara PT. East West Seed Indonesia (EWINDO) dengan AIP PRISMA. EWINDO adalah perusahaan benih sayuran terpadu pertama di Indonesia yang menghasilkan benih unggul sayuran melalui kegiatan pemuliaan tanaman. AIP PRISMA yaitu program dukungan Pemerintah Indonesia dan Australia untuk kemajuan pertanian Indonesia.
Dengan komitmen untuk terus berinovasi menghadirkan layanan-layanan terbaik untuk Petani Indonesia. EWINDO bekerjasama dalam Program SMARTseeds untuk menghadirkan layanan Premium yang dapat dengan mudah diakses oleh Petani melalui Aplikasi Sipindo Powered by SMARTseeds. SMARTseeds adalah project Geodata for Agriculture and Water (G4AW) yang didanai oleh Netherlands Space Office (NSO) dan merupakan satu dari 17 projek di seluruh dunia. Program ini menggunakan prinsip PPP (Public Private Partnership) dimana terdiri dari 6 Lembaga yaitu ICCO Cooperation, EWINDO, Nelen and Schuurman, Twentee Universty (ITC), Akvo dan Institut Pertanian Bogor. Tujuan dari program ini adalah menghadirkan layanan informasi untuk 100.000 petani sayuran di Indonesia.
Manfaat yang bisa didapatkan setelah install Sipindo Powered by SMARTseeds :
1. Peta Penanaman: Anda dapat mengetahui informasi pemetaan wilayah penanaman sayuran di Indonesia. Informasi ini digunakan untuk perencanaan penanaman sehingga dapat terhindar dari over supply saat panen yang bisa menyebabkan turunnya harga panen.
2. Informasi Harga Sayuran : Anda dapat mengetahui informasi harga sayuran terkini sehingga lebih mudah dalam bernegosiasi dengan pedagang.
3. Cara Bertanam Sayuran: Anda juga dapat mengetahui teknik bertanam sayuran yang benar serta dapat berkonsultasi langsung tentang budidaya tanaman dan pengendalian hama penyakit tanaman.
4. Sipindo juga dilengkapi fitur rekomendasi pemupukan untuk beberapa daerah di Indonesia (saat ini baru tersedia untuk area Jawa Timur, Jawa Tengah, dan Lampung) dan kami akan terus perluas hingga dapat menjangkau seluruh daerah di Indonesia.
5. Anda dapat mengetahui prediksi curah hujan (CH) bulanan untuk 6 bulan ke depan serta prediksi awal musim kemarau (AMK) dan awal musim hujan (AMH).
6. Anda juga dapat melihat informasi prakiraan cuaca harian yang lebih detail.
7. Anda juga dapat mengetahui hama penyakit tanamna secara tepat berdasarkan penanganan secara kimiawi dan non-kimiawi
8. Bagi pedagang, anda bisa mengetahui lokasi penananaman sayuran di sekitar anda sehingga lebih mudah untuk mencari produk yang ingin dijual.
9. Bagi petugas atau penyuluh pertanian, melalui Sipindo anda bisa membantu lebih banyak petani di lapangan untuk mendukung kesuksesan pertanaman mereka.
