I spillet øver du at læse, stave og genkende ord og bogstaver på en sjov og uhøjtidelig måde, i tråd med moderne læringsmetoder.
Stavepladen indeholder mere end 120 ord på 2 til 6 bogstaver, omhyggeligt udvalgte med klare illustrationer. Der er lette baner med korte ord og lange baner med mange ord, som udfordring til de dygtigste.
Der er 5 forskellige unikke måder at opdage bogstaver, lyde, ord og deres stavemåde.
Ordene bliver både stavet og udtalt. Bogstaverne har den unikke lyd der hører til ordet. Der tages hensyn til de mange specielle lyde i det danske sprog. Ordene udtales mundret af børn efterhånden som opgaverne løses.
Der er også en spillemåde hvor bogstaverne synges. Her kan man høre og lære bogstavernes navne. Der er baner hvor man skal læse ordene og pege på deres billede.
Stavepladen håndterer dobbeltkonsonanter, sammensatte lyde og stumme bogstaver, som jo er karakteristiske for det danske sprog.
Igennem spillet vinder man flere og flere af alfabetets bogstaver, indtil man kan høre hele alfabetsangen.
Der er hjælpetekst til de voksne og en visuel guide med hjælpestemme til børnene, så de kan komme i gang, - både med og uden hjælp fra en voksen.
Stavepladen bruger ikke "køb fra program", så man kan ikke komme til at bruge penge i spillet efter man har købt det.
Appen virker både i landskab og portræt. Den er optimeret til alle typer tablets og telefoner.
Stavepladen er spiltestet af rigtigt mange tilfredse børn :-)
