Byron Jones, Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, is one of the most accomplished individuals in the field of physical therapy. Early Years
Byron Jones was born on September 26, 1992 in New Britain, Connecticut. He is a cornerback in the NFL and has played for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and Atlanta Falcons. Jones attended UConn and played football and basketball before deciding to pursue a career in football. Jones was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft and has since played for Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta. He has started 37 of his 43 career games and has recorded 8 seasons of experience.
Education
Byron Jones '77 is a retired educator and visual artist. After graduating from Tuskegee University with a bachelor's degree in accounting, Byron worked in the accounting field for several years. In 1984, he decided to pursue a different career and enrolled in the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. There, he earned his MBA and began working in the private sector. In 1998, Byron returned to Tuskegee University as the Head of Cardiff Professional Legal Studies (CPLS). He has been a part of CPLS ever since and enjoys teaching both law students and business professionals. Byron also has a passion for music and has been a member of the Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University choir for over 40 years. He is also an avid reader and enjoys exploring new learning opportunities every day.
Career
Byron Jones has had an illustrious career thus far, playing for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and now the Boston Celtics. He has played in 47 career games, 37 of which have been starts, and has amassed 194 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 13 interceptions. Jones has also been a standout on the defensive side of the ball, averaging 1.5 sacks and 13 interceptions per season. Jones is a natural leader on the field and has a passion for the game that has brought him to where he is today.
Personal Life
Byron Jones was born on March 20th, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a professional American football cornerback who is currently a member of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). Jones attended the University of Georgia where he played college football. He was drafted by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Jones has also been a member of the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals.
