With this app, you can calculate Islamic inheritance & zakat as per laws in Islam and Quran.
This inheritance calculator can calculate the share(s) of close relatives like Father, Mother, Husband / Wife, Son, Daughter, Brother, and Sister according to Inheritance law in Islam.
To calculate the Meeras (in Arabic) or Wirasat (in Urdu) choose the gender of the deceased (the person who died/passed away) and enter the information about the relatives of the deceased. After all the relevant information has been entered, click on the calculate button to know about how much each relative will inherit as per Islamic inheritance calculation according to Islam.
This zakat calculator can calculate the zakat (2.5%) due to a Muslim's total wealth. The total wealth includes cash/amount in a bank account, the investment & shares, the gold and silver that one possesses, and any other source of wealth the one possesses. The wealth is then subtracted from the liabilities like immediate salaries and wages due, tax returns,....etc and after the subtraction of liabilities from the wealth, 2.5% of the net amount will be the payable zakat.

Distribution of inheritance (Meeras / Wirasat) carries a special place in Islam and is a very important component of the Muslim faith and is considered as an integral part of the Sharia Law. Among the relatives in Islam, there is a legal share as per Quran for each descendant in monetary value/property the deceased has left. Quran has mentioned different shares over the matters of Islamic inheritance.
About Zakat in Islam and the Quran:
Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam and is mandatory & obligatory for every Muslim who possesses the required nisab. While the nisab is defined as wealth equaling 87.48 grams (7.5 tolas) of Gold or 612.36 (52.5 tolas) Silver.
Zakat holds profound significance for Muslims worldwide. Derived from the Arabic root meaning "to purify," Zakat represents a form of almsgiving, mandatory for eligible Muslims to fulfill.
