Viewing Daily Job Assignments
The first core feature of the Kairos Time Entry mobile app is the ability to view daily job assignments. When an employee opens the app, they see a clear, straightforward screen displaying their tasks for the day. This feature is designed to help workers understand exactly what they need to do without any confusion.
How It Works
Upon logging into the app, the user lands on a homepage that lists their daily jobs. Each job entry includes basic details like the task name, start time, end time, and location (if applicable). For example, a construction worker might see “Install drywall at Site A, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM,” while a retail employee might see “Stock shelves, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.” The list is organized in chronological order, so the employee knows which task comes first. If there are multiple tasks, they’re displayed in a scrollable list, with each job clearly separated for easy reading.
The interface uses simple text and minimal graphics to keep things uncluttered. Employees can tap on a job to see more details, such as specific instructions (e.g., “Bring safety gear” or “Focus on aisle 5”). This ensures workers have all the information they need to prepare for the day. The app syncs with the company’s scheduling system, so any updates to job assignments are reflected in real-time, assuming the employee has an internet connection.
