Additionally, the app allows members to deposit funds into their savings accounts directly from their Mobile Money wallets, as well as withdraw funds from their savings accounts back to their Mobile Money wallets. These transactions are seamless due to the integration between the Mobis Core Banking system and major mobile money platforms, specifically MTN MoMo and Airtel Money. This feature facilitates continuous savings and offers the flexibility to access funds without the need to visit a physical branch.
2. Loan Applications and Management
Loan processing and management are central features of the Mobis App. Members can initiate loan applications directly from the app, following each application through every stage until disbursement. This transparency in tracking a loan’s status ensures members remain informed and reduces the need for follow-up communication with branch staff. Once a loan is disbursed, members have the option to make instalment payments by transferring funds from their mobile wallets to the loan account. In addition, members can view their loan ledger, allowing them to monitor their repayment progress and maintain financial discipline.
