HOW IT WORKS
Perfolio is an interface to a blockchain-based lending protocol. You always maintain full control of your assets through your own self-custody wallet.
1. Create your own non-custodial wallet using our partner Privy's email based login/signup
2. Deposit using bank transfer or Deposit XAUT (Tether Gold) as collateral into a publicly auditable smart contract
3. Borrow USDT against your collateral (up to 70% of your gold's value)
4. Repay anytime — no penalties, no fixed term, no maturity date
5. Withdraw your gold collateral in full upon repayment
NON-CUSTODIAL — YOUR KEYS, YOUR GOLD
Perfolio is a non-custodial interface. Your assets are never held by Perfolio. You control your own private keys at all times. All transactions require your explicit approval through your own wallet. Perfolio cannot access, move, or control your funds. We use Privy as wallet solution.
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES
Perfolio is a decentralized, non-custodial protocol interface and is NOT a bank, lender, or financial institution. Perfolio does not originate loans, custody funds, or make credit decisions. All lending operations are executed by autonomous smart contracts on public blockchains.
RISKS: Cryptocurrency and tokenized assets involve significant risk, including:
— Liquidation Risk: If your collateral value drops below the 85% LTV liquidation threshold, part or all of your collateral may be liquidated by the protocol.
— Smart Contract Risk: While smart contracts are audited, they may contain vulnerabilities.
— Oracle Risk: Gold price data is sourced from Chainlink oracles; temporary oracle failures could affect liquidation events.
— Market Volatility: Gold prices and stablecoin values can fluctuate.
— Protocol Risk: DeFi protocols may experience unforeseen issues.
