ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES USAGE
SaylorPay uses Accessibility Services to automate USSD code dialing and navigation on your behalf. This eliminates the need to manually dial codes like 170# or 110# for mobile money transactions.
The app reads USSD menus displayed on your screen and automatically selects the correct options to complete your requested transaction (sending money, buying airtime, checking balance, etc.). You can disable this permission at any time in your device settings.
SaylorPay does not collect, store, or share any personal information accessed through Accessibility Services. The service is used solely to automate USSD menu navigation on your device. All transactions are processed directly through your mobile money network operator.
SMS PERMISSION USAGE
SMS permission is required to read mobile money transaction messages from supported Telcos (e.g., "Mobile Money", "T-CASH", "ATMoney"). This enables SaylorPay to:
• Generate and display a unified transaction history from multiple networks in one place
• Optionally allow merchants to accept and confirm payments in real-time during website or app checkouts (disabled by default)
We do not read personal messages, OTPs, or other conversations. SMS access is strictly limited to mobile money transaction confirmations. You can revoke this permission anytime in device settings. Optional cloud sync lets you access your transaction history from any browser.
