Description
Designed to emulate a real-world implementation, the application walks the user through key steps in the digital verification process, including document capture, biometric face matching, and system-driven validation logic. While the app does not process or store actual personal data, it replicates all the visual and functional components of a production-grade KYC system.
Core Capabilities
1. Simulated Document Verification
Users are guided through capturing an image of a government-issued identity document (passport, ID card, or driver’s license). The system demonstrates automatic extraction and parsing of identity attributes such as name, date of birth, and document number, mimicking real-world OCR and MRZ reading capabilities.
2. Biometric Face Matching (Demo Mode)
The app prompts the user to take a selfie or short video, simulating a biometric verification step that would ordinarily match the live capture with the document photo. While the biometric engine is simulated, the UI and logic reflect standard industry practice for liveness detection and facial recognition checks.
3. Intelligent Workflow Logic
The user experience is governed by a dynamic flow controller that demonstrates conditional navigation based on verification outcomes, timeouts, and fallback scenarios—providing a realistic preview of how decision trees operate in a real KYC deployment.
4. No Real Data Collected
As a demonstration tool, the app does not collect, transmit, or persist any personally identifiable information (PII). Instead, sample data and mock APIs are used to simulate backend responses and verification decisions.
5. Developer & Compliance-Friendly Design
The solution is built to reflect best practices in privacy-by-design and regulatory alignment, enabling evaluation of how the technology would comply with GDPR, eIDAS, AMLD (Anti-Money Laundering Directive), and ISO/IEC 30107-3 standards for biometric security.
