Pitru Paksha, Pitru Dosh, Tarpan Vidhi App gives you complete information about Pitru Paksha, Pitru Dosh and Shradh - Tarpan method. This app is currently mainly available in Hindi language but soon we are trying to make it available in English and other Indian languages ​​also. In Sanatan Hindu Dharma, from the birth of the child till his old age and then after giving up his life and being absorbed in Brahman, all the rituals and activities are specified among them, the Shradh ceremony which is performed after the death of the soul is very special.

Shradh is a ritual and ritual performed in Hindu and other Indian religions to express reverence and gratitude to and remember one's ancestors. According to the scriptures of Sanatan Dharma, every year from Pratipada of Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha to Amavasya of Bhadrapada, all the ancestors come to the earth from different lokas for a whole day and this time is called Shradh Paksha or Pitru Paksha. During the 16-day period of Pitru Paksha or Pitra Paksha, Sanatani Hindus reverently remember their ancestors and perform Pind Daan for them. It is also known by the names 'Sixteen Shradh', 'Mahalay Paksha', 'Upper Paksha' etc.

The process of Shradh or Tarpan is the process of expressing our reverence to our ancestors and fulfilling their needs of food, water and all other types. The last day of Pitru Paksha is known as Sarvapitru Amavasya or Mahalaya Amavasya. Mahalaya Amavasya is the most important day in Pitru Paksha.
