Описание
With the Digital Field Assistant, users can design and implement custom data collection protocols using a flexible form builder. Protocols can include a wide range of input types, such as numeric fields, text notes, checkboxes, dropdowns, and multimedia like photos, audio recordings, and videos. The app supports advanced geospatial mapping tools, allowing users to record data as points, lines, or polygons, making it ideal for habitat surveys, transect monitoring, and other methods.
AI-powered species identification is enabled on the Okala Biodiversity Dashboard, where audio and video recordings can be automatically analyzed through global AI models trained to identify a wide range of species, including mammals, birds, insects, amphibians, and plants. With further support for eDNA data, camera trap images and videos, and bioacoustic data, the platform makes collecting, analysing and reporting ecological data fast, accurate and scalable.
