CDC released the FY2025 ICD-10-CM with 252 new codes,36 code deletions,13 code revisions making the cut, going into effect on October 1, 2024.

Highlights from the new 2025 ICD-10-CM codes
ICD-10 codes for cancer in remission
The neoplasm chapter contains codes for most benign and all malignant neoplasms. Chapter 2-Neoplasms leads the way this year in the quantity of new codes, receiving .63 new codes expanding cancer to include "in remission."
