The Walking School Bus (WSB) program, initiated by parents and carers at a local primary school in Sydney, Australia, is a community-driven project developed in collaboration with the school, local police, and the City Council. The WSB App was designed to enhance communication and streamline administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, within the school community. It is available for free download.
