As an Android app developer, I found myself constantly uninstalling and reinstalling apps during development. I would place frequently used apps on my home screen for quick access, but whenever I uninstalled an app, its shortcut would disappear from the home screen. Even after reinstalling, I had to go back to the app drawer to find it and create a new shortcut—a frustrating inconvenience that disrupted my workflow.
This problem inspired me to create App Pin. Since using this app, I can freely uninstall and reinstall apps without worrying about losing their home screen position. The shortcuts stay right where I placed them, making app development much more efficient.
