Aplicația este dezvoltată de o entitate privată și nu reprezintă Guvernul României, nicio primărie sau altă autoritate publică. ciWix nu este afiliată oficial cu instituții guvernamentale și nu a fost dezvoltată la solicitarea unei autorități publice.
Prin intermediul aplicației, utilizatorii pot transmite sesizări privind:
• iluminatul public
• salubrizarea
• drumurile
• spațiile verzi
• alte probleme semnalate în comunitate
Sesizările pot include descriere, fotografie și localizare, pentru identificarea corectă a situației raportate.
De asemenea, aplicația permite consultarea unor informații de interes public, precum:
• anunțuri publice disponibile pe site-uri oficiale
• programul de salubrizare comunicat de operatorii autorizați
• informații despre transportul public publicate de operatorii locali
• date meteo furnizate prin servicii publice disponibile
ciWix poate fi utilizată de orice administrație locală care alege să publice informații prin intermediul platformei, însă aplicația funcționează independent de autoritățile publice.
