A subscription is required to use Maude.
How it works:
1. Add your VPS server with SSH credentials
2. Authenticate Claude Code via OAuth
3. Start coding through a real-time streaming chat interface
Maude connects to Claude Code running on your own servers, giving you a full mobile
coding assistant with tool use visibility, persistent tmux sessions, and
markdown-rendered responses.
Features (included with subscription):
• SSH connections to any Linux server — Hetzner, DigitalOcean, AWS, or any server
with SSH access
• OAuth authentication with your Anthropic account
• Real-time streaming responses with live text output
• Inline tool use and tool result cards — see exactly what Claude is doing
• Persistent tmux sessions that survive disconnects
• Session resumption — pick up where you left off
• Browse and select remote project directories
• GitHub repo integration — clone and open repos on your server
• Password and SSH key authentication
• Light and dark mode
• Secure credential storage on device
All credentials are stored locally on your device using secure encrypted storage.
Maude never sends your server credentials to third-party servers.
Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of
the current period. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation
of purchase. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account
settings.
