Un story point è una misura relativa utilizzata nello sviluppo software Agile, in particolare nel framework Scrum, per stimare la complessità delle user story o delle attività.
I team Agili utilizzano story point come unità di misura per rappresentare la dimensione, la difficoltà o il lavoro richiesto per completare una specifica user story.
Questo approccio relativo facilita la discussione e la collaborazione tra i membri del team.
Ecco alcuni concetti chiave dello Scrum:
Scrum : framework di sviluppo Agile che viene utilizzato per gestire progetti complessi. Si basa su un approccio iterativo ed incrementale, in cui il lavoro viene organizzato in cicli chiamati Sprint.
Slick : metodologia Agile che definisce il nuovo standard per la gestione dei progetti innovativi con totale controllo dei costi e della marginalità.
Ruoli :
- Scrum master : responsabile di facilitare il processo Scrum, rimuovere gli ostacoli e garantire che il team rispetti i principi e le partiche dello Scrum
- Team di Sviluppo : professionisti che portano avanti il lavoro di sviluppo del prodotto
- Stakeholder : individui o gruppi che hanno un interesse diretto o indiretto nel prodotto che viene sviluppato
L’app gestisce le stanze virtuali alle quali i partecipanti potranno affacciarsi per poter votare. Ogni stanza virtuale è creata e gestita dal Project Leader (con ruolo di Scrum Master nel gergo Agile) - abbreviato PL - il quale detta i tempi di voto e le dinamiche di discussione. Il team si raduna in forma virtuale o ibrida, usando i tradizionali canali di video conference usati in azienda.
Il PL attiva la stanza (numero randomico a quattro cifre) tramite APP e tutti gli utenti presenti nel meeting si collegano alla stessa stanza usando il proprio dispositivo mobile.
Il mazzo di carte può essere di due tipi: Agile Poker o Custom.
Il mazzo Custom viene creato in base ad un intervallo di valori interi scelti dal Project Leader.
Ad ogni votazione, gli utenti hanno la possibilità di scegliere la propria “carta”, cioè il proprio voto, e possono confermare.
L’utente che decide di cambiare carta prima della conclusione della votazione, ha la possibilità di selezionare un’altra carta.
Le carte consegnate, a parte la propria, sono mostrate girate e vengono scoperte solo una volta chiusa la votazione.
Una volta che il PL decide di chiudere la votazione, vengono mostrati a tutti i voti dei vari partecipanti e la media, il PL può quindi moderare la discussione che deve portare alla scelta dell’unico voto consensuale da parte di tutto il team.
