AmiCane is a Smart Cane for elderly people, who can use it not only as a walking aid but also to contact their caretakers in an emergency. AmiCane also has a fall detection mechanism which will alert the caretakers with a call and SMS. GPS allows caretakers to exactly locate the user.
Rising number of elderly people stay away from their children out of choice or compulsion due to their children’s jobs and career. Their children are not available to them when they are needed the most, when an emergency strikes. AmiCane is an innovative product that will not only assist the elderly people to venture out with confidence but will also keep them in constant touch with their children or caretakers.

2. Fall detection triggers a call and SMS GMap location to caretaker
3. ‘Save Our Sole’ button also triggers a similar call and SMS
4. Alert SMS to caretaker if the user wanders off the geofence
5. ‘All is Well’ button in case of an alert or SOS by mistake

With AmiCane in their hand Senior citizens with age related health issues need not remain home bound but can carry out normal routine and while doing so remain in touch with their loved ones or caretakers.
