AviNest
Om de oorzaken van de trend (vooruitgang of achteruitgang) van een populatie te achterhalen is het belangrijk om het broedsucces goed in kaart te brengen. Om het verzamelen van broedsuccesgegevens van diverse vogelsoorten makkelijker te maken, is er de AviNest App ontwikkeld. Deze App maakt het invoeren van broedsuccesgegevens op een eenvoudige wijze in het veld mogelijk. Je kan een goed overzicht houden over je eigen ingevoerde nesten in verschillende gebieden. De App kan automatisch berekenen wanneer de kuikens uit het ei gaan komen, rond welke datum je de jongen zou kunnen ringen en de verwachte datum dat de jongen vliegvlug zijn. Dit zie je per nest en gebied in een helder overzicht. De gegevens kunnen makkelijk naar de Sovon-database Nestkaart geüpload worden, waarmee de gegevens bij de organisatie voor grootschalig onderzoek gebruikt kunnen worden.
