Welcome to BoilGuide – Cooking Timer, the specialized utility that solves a common cooking challenge: boiling temperature changes with altitude. At higher elevations, water boils at a lower temperature, meaning your food needs more time to cook thoroughly. BoilGuide automatically adjusts cooking times for virtually any food based on your current elevation, ensuring consistently perfect results every time.

Key Features and Workflow
Automatic Time Adjustment: The process is simple and precise:

Select Food: Choose your item from a list of categories (Pasta, Rice, Potatoes, Vegetables, Grains, Custom).

Enter Standard Time: Input the cooking time printed on the package (e.g., 10:00 minutes).

Auto-Calculate: BoilGuide uses your device’s barometer (or location data) to determine your precise altitude and boiling point (e.g., 94.1°C).

Adjusted Time Display: The app instantly calculates and displays the correct, extended cooking time needed for your elevation.

Intuitive Home Screen:

Altitude Card: See your current altitude and the corresponding boiling point in a clean, full-width display.

Food Categories: Browse beautiful, image-based cards to quickly select what you are cooking.

Timer Screen: Beautiful and Informative The main attraction features a stunning visual countdown:

Large Progress Indicator: A full-screen circular gauge provides a smooth, animated countdown of the adjusted cooking time.
