Description
El objetivo de esta iniciativa es fomentar la actividad social de la población joven y el fomento del pequeño comercio dentro del distrito.
Los y las jóvenes realizarán actividades de carácter social que beneficien a la población de
Villaverde y a cambio recibirán una contrapartida en moneda social -El Boniatillo- que podrán
utilizar en los establecimientos del propio Distrito asociados al programa.
Entre las actividades ofertadas dentro del programa destacan:
- Apoyo a las bibliotecas de la Asociación Vecinal La Unidad de Villaverde Este y La Trueca
- programas de radio con contenido social en Onda Merlín OMG
- apoyo en talleres de lecto-escritura e informática para adultos y mayores y clases de español para adultos en la Asociación Vecinal La Unidad de Villaverde Este,
- participación en la jornada de limpieza en el patio de La Trueca o en el concurso de grafiti y arte urbano para contribuir a la mejora de espacios degradados dentro del Distrito.
Esta iniciativa se completa con un proceso formativo en las aulas donde estudian estos jóvenes en el que se trabajan alternativas al sistema económico capitalista a través de la Guía “La Economía Social y Solidaria en el proceso educativo”.
Con todo ello se consigue, además de fortalecer el tejido económico de un Distrito con importantes tasas de paro y niveles de exclusión social, fomentar la activad solidaria y contribuir a la construcción de una ciudadanía activa que apueste por un sistema económico que tenga en cuenta a las personas, el medio ambiente y el desarrollo sostenible y sustentable.
