KEY FEATURES
• Continuous Audio Recording — Record clinical conversations with patients, including while other apps are in use or while the screen is off. A persistent notification is displayed whenever recording is active. Recordings are transcribed and used to generate clinical documentation notes.
• Accessibility Services Integration — Circadia AI uses Android Accessibility Services to read screen content and monitor user interactions (clicks, text entry, and selections) exclusively within PointCare and PointCare Training clinical applications. This data — including patient form fields, clinical assessments, care plan information, and other patient data — is combined with audio recordings to generate accurate clinical documentation notes. The Accessibility Service can also insert text into input fields within these supported apps to pre-fill documentation. No other applications on the device are monitored or accessed.
• AI-Powered Documentation — Audio transcripts and captured clinical data are processed using artificial intelligence to generate comprehensive patient documentation notes, reducing manual data entry and improving documentation accuracy.
• Outlook Calendar Integration — Connect your Outlook calendar to view and manage your clinical visit schedule.
• Palliative Care Support — Includes specialized tools for palliative care and end-of-life documentation workflows.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES USAGE
This app uses the Accessibility Services API to:
• Read form field labels and values from PointCare and PointCare Training
• Monitor user interactions (clicks, text entry, checkbox and radio button selections) within these apps
• Detect screen navigation between clinical forms
• Insert text into input fields to assist with documentation
Accessibility Services access is strictly limited to PointCare (com.hchb.pointcare, com.hchb.android.pc.ui) and PointCare Training (com.hchb.pointcare.training, com.hchb.android.pc.ui.training). No other apps are monitored. A prominent in-app disclosure is shown and explicit user consent is required before the Accessibility Service is enabled.
DATA HANDLING
All data captured by this app — including audio recordings and clinical form data — pertains to patient documentation. The only personal data collected about the app user is name and email for authentication, account identifiers, and device diagnostics. Patient data may be shared with your healthcare organization for clinical documentation and care coordination purposes. All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS.
This app is intended for use by authorized healthcare professionals only. User accounts are provisioned by organization administrators; the app does not support self-registration.
