At its core, El Colector revolutionizes public transportation by offering real-time bus geolocation. Users can easily identify the location of their next bus, see estimated arrival times at stops, and explore detailed routes. This functionality not only enhances the passenger experience but also provides transportation fleets with vital metrics to optimize their operations. The platform allows for the registration and management of routes and stops, ensuring robust public transportation planning.
Additionally, El Colector integrates a powerful private transportation and delivery module, operating with the familiarity of ride-hailing and delivery services. Users can request motorcycles or cars for direct transfers, or use the app to sell products with home delivery. The app facilitates the connection by showing the driver the pickup location (passenger or business) and final destination, while the user is informed of the driver's estimated arrival time.
Both services are supported by a monthly membership model, applicable to both public transportation fleets and individual private transportation drivers. Membership activation is managed through the app, with integrated payment options and the possibility of paying in cash.
