Popis
Visi Digital Falak :
1. Ummat islam terbiasa menggunakan penanggalan islam yakni standar hijriyah tanpa harus meninggalkan sepenuhnya pada kalender masehi, setidak dengan adanya DF ummat islam mengetahui kalender hijri yang sedang berjalan.
2. ummat Islam mengenal dan menggunakan waktu Istiwak (WIS) yang menjadi acuan utama dalam penentuan waktu sholat tanpa harus melupakan waktu setempat yang menjadi standar internasional.
3. Kemudahan mengetahui waktu sholat yang akurat, dan berlahan-lahan mengurangi kecerobohan dalam masukkan waktu sholat yang disebabkan ketidak tahuan.
4. Mengubah persepsi bahwa selisih waktu istiwak dengan waktu setempat adalah 30 menit.
5. mengubah persepsi bahwa waktu Istiwak dimulahi jam 12 malam seperti waktu setempat.
Misi Digital Falak :
1. DF didesain seperti kalender dinding agar lebih familier.
2. Membalut DF dengan fiture yang berkaitan dengan Islam juga nasionalisme
3. Mengingatkan akan terjadinya gerhana bulan dan matahari untuk kemudian menjalankan sholat gerhana sesuai ketentuan dalam ilmu fiqh.
4. Menyediakan notifikasi WIS, dan Adzan.
5. Menyediakan Opsi terkait ilmu falak bagi yang mengetahuinya untuk menyesuaikan standar yang ia anut, dan bagi yang awam dibidang falak, disediakan nilai default yang menjadi standar pengembang software.
6. Menyediakan Kompass arah qiblat untuk keperluan mendesak, dan bukan untuk mencari kesalahan qiblat yang sudah ada.
