Learn Coding - Hide All Apps
Learn Coding is a custom home launcher that doubles as a learning hub. Set it as your default launcher and control which apps appear in your app list—hide any app behind a simple code challenge so they stay out of sight until you answer correctly.

► HOW IT WORKS

Set Learn Coding as your default home app in Android settings. When you press Home, you see a clean home screen with clock, date, and your pinned apps. Swipe up or tap Apps to open the app drawer. Apps you choose to hide no longer show in that list; they’re only reachable after you open Learn Coding and pass the Code Challenge.

► KEY FEATURES

• Default launcher – Replace your stock home with a simple, focused home screen (clock, date, wallpaper).
• App hiding – Hide selected apps from the main app list. They stay installed but don’t appear when you open the app drawer.
• Code Challenge – Unlock hidden apps by answering one coding question. You set the answer during setup; it acts as your password.
• Home screen grid – Pin your favourite apps to the home screen in a 4‑column grid. Drag to reorder; long‑press to remove.
• Learn Coding at top – In the app list, Learn Coding appears first so you can quickly open the dashboard and unlock hidden apps.
• Search – Search bar stays at the top while you scroll the app list.
• Coding notes – Built‑in short notes on variables, loops, functions, and more for quick reference.

► SETUP (ONE TIME)

1. Install and open Learn Coding.
2. Answer the default coding question (e.g. “What keyword do you use in JavaScript to declare a variable?”). Your answer is stored as your unlock password.
3. When prompted, set Learn Coding as your default launcher (Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app).
4. Open the app list (swipe up or tap Apps), tap Learn Coding, then Code Challenge to enter your answer and open “My Apps.”
5. In My Apps, tap + to add apps you want to hide from the main list. You can also add apps by package ID.

► HIDDEN APPS

Hidden apps are only visible and launchable from inside Learn Coding, after you pass the Code Challenge. They remain installed on your device; they’re just removed from the launcher’s app list. Perfect for keeping certain apps private or reducing clutter.

► HOME SCREEN

Pin apps from the app list (long‑press an app → Add to home). Your home screen shows a grid of these apps. Drag the handle on an icon to reorder; long‑press an icon to remove it from the home screen.

► PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS

• Your secret answer is stored only on your device.
• The app may request storage or media permissions to show your device wallpaper on the launcher home; on Android 13+ the system often blocks this, in which case a default background is shown.
• The app lists installed apps to show the launcher app drawer and to let you choose which apps to hide. No app list or personal data is sent to any server.

► REQUIREMENTS

• Android only (launcher and app‑hiding features).
• You must set Learn Coding as the default home app for the launcher and app‑hiding features to work.
