The National Corruption Reporting System (NCRS) mobile app aims to bridge this gap by providing a secure and user-friendly platform for Ethiopian citizens to report instances of corruption, bribery, and unethical conduct by government officials and public service providers. By empowering the public to actively participate in the fight against corruption, the app seeks to enhance transparency, accountability, and the overall integrity of Ethiopia's public institutions.

1. Reporting Cases
- The app's core feature allows users to submit detailed reports on incidents of corruption, bribery, or unethical behavior. The reporting process guides users through a series of steps to ensure comprehensive and well-documented submissions
- Users can provide information such as the date, location, and nature of the incident, as well as the names and positions of the individuals involved. They can also upload relevant evidence, such as photographs, documents, or audio/video recordings.
- To ensure the confidentiality and security of the reporting process, the app incorporates end-to-end encryption and secure data storage mechanisms.
- Upon submitting a report, users receive a unique case reference number, which they can use to track the status of their case and receive updates on the actions taken by the EFEACC.
2. Case Tracking and Status Updates
- The app provides users with a dedicated dashboard to manage and monitor the status of their reported cases. Here, users can view the current stage of the investigation, any relevant updates or actions taken, and the overall progress of their case.
- The case tracking feature allows users to stay informed and engaged throughout the investigative process, fostering a sense of transparency and accountability.
