The core of Norma is the algorithm that runs the input, connects to external data systems to retrieve information such as road network maps and traffic predictions to efficiently and quickly return the best-case delivery plan. It allocates resources to optimized routes, plans for capacity allocation across the fleet and provides an advanced analysis.
The end result of "asking Norma" is a minimization of costs per mile, maximization of tons per mile and significant cost savings on planning, putting into consideration mixed fleets and the overall capacity portfolio of the organization. It also adheres to customer deadlines, delivery time windows and SLA / compliance.
This proposal illustrates the Scope of Work as follows:
1. Input Wizard – Data Entry Tool and API for 3rd party integration
2. Norma AI – Access to the core algorithm to optimize
3. Output Plan – Optimized Routes
4. Altair DC (Work Order Management and Driver App) to monitor execution and route compliance
