Inspired by my dog, Leo, PawGuard was created to solve a common problem: the air temperature outside doesn't tell the whole story. A comfortable 77°F day can create 125°F pavement, hot enough to burn paw pads in just 60 seconds. I wanted an app that could handle the complex science—temperature, UV index, heat accumulation, and weather conditions—but give a simple, color-coded answer for quick and easy decision-making.
PawGuard is that app. It does the hard work behind the scenes, so you can focus on what matters most: enjoying safe, happy walks with your dog.
