CREATE AND ORGANIZE NOTES
Write text notes, add bullets or checklists, and draw freehand sketches with Pen, Pencil, or Marker tools. Pin important notes, mark favorites, search your notes, select several notes at once, and move notes into or out of the archive.
MAKE EACH NOTE YOUR OWN
Choose clean, horizontal-ruled, classic margin-ruled, graph, dotted-journal, or old-parchment pages. Pick a modern, classic, handwriting, or typewriter font; change text size; use bold and text colours; and add coloured labels for important, work, personal, idea, or to-do notes. Add images through Android's private Photo Picker and keep clickable website links with a note.
DICTATE A NOTE
Hold the Voice control, speak naturally, and release to add a neatly formatted bullet point on a new line. Each recording becomes a separate point. Say commands such as “new line”, “bullet point”, “new task”, or “question mark”. Pip Notes uses the speech-recognition service configured on your Android device.
ARRANGE AND COMPLETE POINTS
Open Arrange to turn any line into a checklist item, check completed items, and move points into the order you want. Long-press the handle to drag a point, or use the accessible up and down controls.
REMINDERS AND CALENDAR
Set a date and time reminder for a note and browse scheduled notes in the built-in calendar. The Read button sends the open note to the text-to-speech service configured on your Android device.
IDEA STUDIO
Open Idea Studio for built-in note templates, writing-tool suggestions, simple summaries, and next-step prompts. Idea Studio runs privately inside the app and is not an online AI chat service.
LOCAL NOTES AND OPTIONAL BACKUP
Notes autosave on your device by default and no Pip Notes account is required. Save a portable local backup—including note images—with Android's system file picker, then restore it later without wiping newer notes already on your device. You can optionally connect a Google account to back up and synchronize notes through Pip Notes' Google Drive app-data folder. The requested Drive permission is limited to data created by Pip Notes and does not provide access to your other Drive files.
Pip Notes does not contain advertising or an analytics SDK.
