W obszarze administrowania kadrami i płacami Planet obsługuje wszystkie standardowe funkcje (jak np. prowadzenie akt osobowych, naliczanie list płac, ZUS i Podatki etc) oraz najbardziej zaawansowane funkcje z zakresu prawa pracy, prawa ubezpieczeń społecznych, podatków i ochrony pracy (w tym inspekcji pracy, bhp i sanepid). Są to m.in. generowanie wszelkiego typu zaświadczeń dla instytucji finansowych, Świadectw Pracy, automatyczne pobieranie zaświadczeń L-4 z PUE czy nawet zarządzanie potrąceniami komorniczymi.
Dzięki „Planet” całkowicie został wyeliminowany obieg papierowych dokumentów a Akta Osobowe są prowadzone w formie elektronicznej. Dzięki temu wszyscy użytkownicy maja do nich stały dostęp na równych zasadach.
Z kolei „Planet App” jest to narzędzie umożliwiające dostęp do wybranych funkcji i danych w „Planet” do oraz interaktywnej komunikacji pomiędzy Pracodawcą a Pracownikiem.
Na poziomie Pracownika aplikacja służy do zarządzania czasem pracy poprzez wgląd do harmonogramu bieżącego i planowanego oraz do generowania wniosków urlopowych i rezerwowania terminów odbioru dni wolnych. Aplikacja służy również do monitorowania najważniejszych wymogów i terminów związanych z prawem pracy i umową z pracodawcą.
Na poziomie Pracodawcy służy szybkiego podglądu harmonogramów, przeglądu złożonych wniosków pracowniczych oraz do ich autoryzacji.
Komunikacja jest wspierana przez powiadomienia wysyłane przez aplikację po wykonaniu określonych akcji przez Pracownika lub Pracodawcę.
„Planet App” posiada dodatkowe funkcjonalności jak np. możliwość wysyłania harmonogramów do kalendarzy na smartphone i przesyłanie zdjęć dokumentów kadrowo-płacowych do bazy danych.
Użytkownicy którzy zostali zautoryzowani przez „Planet App” uzyskują również dostęp do pozostałych komponentów Systemu Alfa-Net czyli do systemu do zarządzania obiegiem dokumentów (SAN) oraz do modułu szkoleń biznesowych (EDU).
