Reptile Anti-Theft is a smart security app designed to protect your phone against theft, unauthorized access, and tampering. With features like motion alarms, intruder selfies, fake shutdown screen, and real-time emergency alerts—including SMS alerts to trusted contacts—Reptile offers total protection.
🔐 Core Security Features:
Emergency SMS Alerts
If your phone is moved, unplugged, or accessed improperly, the app can automatically send an SMS to your emergency contact with your current location. (This is a core anti-theft feature and requires the SEND_SMS permission.)
Fake Shutdown Screen
Uses AccessibilityService to prevent thieves from turning off the device by showing a fake shutdown UI, while secretly tracking continues.
Pocket Removal & Motion Detection
Detects suspicious movement or device removal and triggers a loud siren.
Charging Disconnect Alert
Sends an alert if your device is unplugged in public or while you’re away.
Intruder Selfie & Face Detection
Captures the image of anyone trying to unlock your device.
Find My Phone
Triggers a loud alarm even in silent mode.
✅ Use of Sensitive Permissions
SMS Permission (SEND_SMS):
Required to automatically notify your trusted contact via SMS in case of device theft or unauthorized access. The app sends alerts only to numbers you specify.
No messages are sent without your consent
SMS usage is limited strictly to the anti-theft feature
We do not collect, sell, or misuse your contact or message data
AccessibilityService API:
Used only for motion, pocket detection, and fake shutdown protection. Full disclosure is shown within the app.
