With the rooomScan 3D Scan app, your smartphone or tablet becomes a fully-fledged 3D scanner with which you can take photos and convert them into 3D models. Experience how you can create an impressive 3D model in just a few minutes, which you can freely view from all sides. All you need is this free app.

How does the 3D Scan app work?
By moving your smartphone or tablet around your object, you enable the scan app to photograph it from every possible perspective. Don't worry, the app will guide you exactly what to do. If you are satisfied with the resulting photos, give them an object name, such as "Green Chair" and upload them to the rooom system with a click. After just a few minutes, a finished 3D Product Viewer of your item is available for you in the app - a 3D model has been created from your photos. Now you can freely rotate the 3D model in the Product Viewer, zoom in and out and take it digitally with you wherever you go.

What do you have to pay attention to when scanning?
Objects with transparent or reflective surfaces are not suitable for a scan. Even objects smaller than 3 cm cannot be properly captured by your mobile device as a 3D scanner. The maximum distance when scanning should also not be greater than 5 meters.
