About the App:
Project 26 is an advanced automated bell system designed to simplify and automate school and college bell schedules. Built by the talented students of the College of Applied Science, Vazhakkad, this system allows institutions to manage bell times effortlessly through smart hardware integration. The system was inaugurated by IHRD director Dr. V A Arun Kumar, recognizing the innovative efforts of the students.
Features:
Easy Configuration: Seamlessly configure bell schedules through the app via HTTP and MQTT protocols.
Flexible Scheduling: Set up multiple bell times, with options for long and short bells, based on the needs of your institution.
Wi-Fi Setup: Easily configure and manage the Wi-Fi connectivity of the bell hardware.
Real-Time Control: Make real-time adjustments to the bell timings and modes directly from your smartphone.
Task Automation: Automatically trigger bells at the scheduled times, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
College Name Customization: Set the college name during the initial configuration, which will be reflected in MQTT communication and preferences.
Manual and Auto Mode: Switch between manual control and automated scheduling depending on your requirements.
How It Works:
The app interacts with the hardware via Wi-Fi to configure and manage the bell system. By utilizing HTTP requests and MQTT for communication, the app sends bell times, modes (long/short bells), and operational statuses directly to the bell controller hardware. This allows institutions to run their bell system smoothly with minimal manual intervention.
