Popis
The Taking Root mobile app makes it easy track and manage all aspects of your reforestation program.
• Login with your technician profile information, created through our web application
• Gather information through your mobile phone offline and synchronise when you have access to internet
• Create records for all farmers that register in your program including demographic information and uploading documents.
• Map the parcels of land being reforested
• Log tree data including tree species, diameter at breast height, tree height, and observations to generate estimates of trees grown and carbon sequestered.
• Track program activities, parcel observations and farmer payments
Monitor the success of your program with the dashboards in the Taking Root web application.
• Visualize your entire reforestation program through an interactive map and see the number of parcels and farmers in your program, as well as their locations
• Track the performance of your staff by seeing who visits which farmers and parcels, how often, and when.
• View the performance of every farmer, parcel, and field staff so you can target the areas and people that need the most support.
Deliver reporting to certifications and buyers on the impacts you create
• Carbon estimates generated from a combination of field data collected from the mobile app, continuous satellite imagery feeds, and our database of allometric biomass equations
• Number of hectares being restored by the farmers in your program
• Trees growing across all parcels in your program
• Additional revenue going to farmers through carbon payments to show impacts on farmer livelihoods
