Are you confuse about whether the problem is in remote or tv, or other absorbing devices, You can now test your Remote control by using your cell phone and our IR Remote Tester app. You can also use it as Hidden IR Camera Detector. To check if your Universal IR Remote is sending a signal follow the steps below:
Turn on the Remote Tester app After open of the IR Remote Tester app for android. Point the end of the remote control with the Infrared transmitter Press & hold one of the Button on the remote to Test. Depending on whether the transmitter is visible or not, follow the instructions:
If the light of the remote control emitter is not visible when any button is pressed, there is a possibility the batteries are Damage. Switch to new batteries and check works or not the transmitter lights up. This IR Remote Tester can also enable you to detect Infrared IR spy cameras. If the IR rays do not improve, the remote control, may be broken. Insert Batteries. If the transmitter is not visible it means Infrared Ray IR is not Passing so The battery of our Remote checker is dead or the remote control may be damaged.

Built-in Camera Also detect IR light, What we have added is luminosity effect, Which has clear Visibility. Turn off the light in a dark room. Use the scanner to search for cameras. If you see a light in the scanner, it is infrared light. it could be infrared Camera which is called cctv cameras. so this app also used for cctv camera detecting.
Important for Universal Remote:
If you see IR light when no button is press, one of the buttons on the remote may be stuck and prevent other buttons from working.
If this is the case:
First Step Remove the batteries,
Second step Press and release each button a couple of times to see if you can free the stuck button.
Third Step while Replacing cells in remote check during replacement of batteries.
if you continue see a light or infrared rays than may be button will be pressed again.
