Die App richtet sich sowohl an die Einwohner als auch die Besucher von Befort, Dillingen und Grundhof. Die Dienste der Gemeindeverwaltung lassen sich in wenigen Klicks schnell erreichen genauso wie die Beeforter Schlösser, der Natur- und Geopark, der Generationsgarten sowie das Schwimmbad und die Eisbahn.
Die „Beeforter App“ fasst das praktische, vielfältige, gesellschaftliche und kulturelle Angebot in der Gemeinde auf dem Smartphone zusammen. Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren werden genauso aufgelistet wie die Spielplätze der Gemeinde, die alle mit dem Label „Sécher Spillplaz“ ausgezeichnet sind. Diese und weitere Infrastrukturen sind nicht nur im Verzeichnis ausgeführt, sondern sind ebenfalls in einer interaktiven Karte vermerkt, die nach den verschiedenen Kategorien gefiltert werden können.
Ein zusätzlicher Punkt ist die Navigation. Sämtliche Einträge haben ihre Koordinaten und der Benutzer kann so direkt über seine bevorzugte Navigationsapp zum Standort gelangen. Eine weitere Besonderheit erfüllen die Koordinaten bei der Wahl des Notrufs 112 oder 113. Der letzte verfügbare Standort wird beim Anruf angezeigt und kann den Hilfskräften mitgeteilt werden.
Die Push-Benachrichtigung ermöglicht neben der Erinnerung der Leerung der Mülltonnen ebenfalls den Empfang aktueller Mitteilungen, die nach den drei Ortschaften der Gemeinde (Befort, Dillingen und Grundhof) gefiltert werden können.
Nach dem Start der „Beeforter App“ wird sie kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und verbessert um in Zukunft den Bürgern und den Gästen der Gemeinde Befort einen optimalen und umfassenden Informationsdienst anbieten zu können.
