Once downloaded, you can use the app anytime, anywhere without internet connectivity. The app provides a number of remarkable tours of the Museum, both long and short, where within the space of a few hours, you can cover great ground, navigate the length and breadth of the museum without getting lost.
The app also provides you with the best one-hour tour of the museum, which is basically a superb itinerary covering the gallery’s top 15 highlights.
We begin our trip from the beating heart of Renaissance in Room 9 where we visit wonderful paintings of Titian, Raphael and Michelangelo. We then make your way to the Dutch masters and the Spanish treasures. We revel in the Caravaggist paintings before taking in the glory of the French Rococo. We next embark on the Grand manner of English Romanticism and our final stop is at the Impressionist and Post Impressionist works from across Europe. Here, we end our momentous journey by visiting the sublime works of Van Gogh which are the crowning jewels of the gallery.
However if you would like to deep dive, there are hundreds of highlights to choose from. The gallery is home to great paintings by European masters such as Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Claude and Poussin as much as British greats such as JMW Turner, Gainsborough and John Constable. The building houses an enviable collection of paintings from Titian to Da Vinci, Van Gogh to Velazquez, and Mantegna to Monet. Now you can awaken hundreds of these beautiful works with your Midas touch! You can also learn about each work in great detail, explore works in the gallery and pursue your interest.
