Description
BlueZoo FTA is used to on-board new BlueZoo Wi-Fi sensors and to reconfigure sensors already deployed. The app is also used to collect “ground truth” to allow for the precise calibration of the sensor in its environment.
Configuration of sensors includes the following:
• Naming the sensor location
• Assigning the sensor to a geographical space
• Configuring Wi-Fi backhaul for cloud communication
• Calibrating the sensor to detect persons only in the target detection zone
Accurate calibration uses “ground truth” collected by the person performing the configuration. That person or persons record of the number of people present in the detection zone at a moment in time (“headcount snapshots”), or the number of people moving across thresholds into and out of the target detection zone over a period of time (“threshold counts”).
To use this mobile application, you need credentials (username and password) and an appropriate role (installer or ground truth collector). Ground Truth - Threshold Count Audit
• Start countdown timer shows the correct number of seconds remaining during the last minute of wait time before the audit begins (instead of an invalid epoch timestamp)
Assign Hardware
•‘Register Hardware’ feature when no unassigned hardware is available for assignment to a location. After registering a new sensor, the user is able to select it from the list of available unassigned hardware.
