Expose is built for developers, QA testers, makers, and local workflow users who need a fast way to serve mock APIs, JSON, HTML, files, folders, photos, or videos to nearby devices on the same Wi-Fi.
Use Expose when you need to:
- Create local mock API endpoints with JSON, HTML, or text responses
- Share read-only files and folders from your iPhone or iPad
- Serve selected photos and videos to another device on your local network
- Open access from a browser, laptop, test phone, tablet, TV, or automation tool
- Share a URL or QR code with token-protected access
- Inspect request logs while you test routes and downloads
- Tune local server behavior for developer and testing workflows
Expose keeps the workflow local. It does not require a cloud account, does not upload your files to a remote backend, and does not publish your device to the public internet. You choose what to expose, start the server when you need it, and stop it when the session is done.
Designed for foreground local sessions: because iOS controls background execution, Expose is not a 24/7 background hosting platform. It is a practical, private, same-network HTTP server for quick testing, file access, demos, and local automation.
