El objetivo principal de esta aplicación móvil es dar a conocer las acciones del proyecto y promover la participación ciudadana en su seguimiento. Grow Green es una asociación de ciudades más verdes para aumentar la habitabilidad, la sostenibilidad y las oportunidades comerciales.
Descárgate la app, mira a tu alrededor y podrás descubrir los tipos de árboles, arbustos y otras plantas que te rodean en el barrio de Benicalap. Ahora mira al cielo, observa las aves urbanas y usa la aplicación para identificarlas y contarlas.
A través de un directorio de aves podrás identificar la especie e indicar la cantidad de aves que ves en ese momento; con tu ayuda podremos hacer un censo colaborativo de aves del barrio y mejorar el conocimiento de nuestra biodiversidad y de la ciudad de València.
En concreto, esta aplicación está destinada a:
- Fomentar el aprendizaje y sensibilidad de los ciudadanos sobre sobre la biodiversidad
local.
- Promover la ciencia ciudadana orientada al censo de aves
- Contribuir a la detección de incidencias relacionadas con la biodiversidad
- Aportar información sobre los espacios que generan una movilidad más sostenible
- Conocer las funciones sociales de los espacios verdes
Desarrolladores de contenidos
Los contenidos de esta app han sido desarrollados por la investigadora Carla Ana-Maria Tudorie y los profesores Francisco Galiana Galán y María Vallés Planells, adscritos al departamento de Ingeniería Rural y Agroalimentaria de la Universitat Politècnica de València.
