Immersive Herod's Temple
Interact, teach, and learn all about Herod's Temple (Second Temple) in this fully explorable, open-world 3D re-creation. Part of the Immersive Bible app.

Herod the Great is considered by many as one of the greatest architects the world has ever seen. He quadrupled the size of the ancient Jewish Temple from Solomon's era and dedicated thousands of resources to build the massive temple complex where Jews performed sacred rituals and worshipped the God of Israel.

In this amazingly detailed 3D re-creation of the city, the world and stories of the Bible come to life. Hundreds of detailed learning points and animations, with accompanying Bible verses, provide in-depth experiences, strengthening your understanding of and connection with this important ancient biblical city.

The full 3D re-creation gives you complete freedom to explore every detail. Look around, open doors, walk up staircases, click on Map View to get an overhead view of the city. Use the interactive joystick to explore to your heart's content and view the animations from different angles.

Tap information points to read or listen to scripture, historical facts, and stories. Earn badges for finding all the information dots in each level. Unlock more of the city and explore further! Collect ancient artifacts along the way and restore the Ark of the Covenant to the Holy of Holies.

We designed the app so you can have fun as you explore and learn. The research and content provided were done by leading scholars and historians in the field to enable the most immersive and interactive experience possible. It's gamified learning and fun!
