Description
Barn börjar läsa vid olika ålder så appen kan vara roande för barn från 5 år och uppåt.
I LÄSMASKINER har vi bara ord med två eller tre ljud för att lägga en stadig grund. Vi använder också ”ord” som inte betyder något (vi kallar dem busord) men som skulle kunna vara svenska ord. Detta gör barnet uppmärksamt på att man måste läsa exakt som det står eftersom man inte vet vad det ska bli och alltså inte kan gissa.
Innehåll
Appen har 4 olika ”maskiner” man kan spela på för att träna på att läsa korta ord och 2 aktiviteter för att befästa sambandet bokstav-ljud.
Riktiga ord symboliseras av en Uggla och busord av en Busfigur.
Under info-knappen finns t.ex. lite om läsinlärning.
Alfabetet
Vi använder en princip där varje bokstav och språkljud har en bild som kan associeras till ljudet. Ormen väser sssss , musen piper iiiii. Om man inte kan läsa och har svårt att lyssna ut första ljudet i ett ord är det inte naturligt att förknippa bokstaven o med en orm eller bokstaven m med en mus. Däremot är det naturligt för barn att komma ihåg att ormen väser ssss och musen piper iiii.
Memory
Memory med språkljud och språkljudsbilder som befäster kunskapen om vilka ljud och bokstäver som hör ihop.
Maskin 1
Här finns bara ord och busord med 2 ljud. Maskinen har 6 nivåer.
Nivå 1 och 2 har ord med ljuden s l m a o i e som är ljud man kan hålla ut och som därför är lätta att ljuda ihop.
Nivå 3 och 4 har ord med ljuden f v n å u ö + ljuden från nivå 1 o 2, flera ljud men fortfarande sådana som går att hålla ut.
Nivå 5 och 6 har ord med ljuden r y ä + ljuden från tidigare nivåer. Ännu flera ljud att behärska, fortfarande sådana som är lätta att ljuda.
Maskin 2
Maskinen har 3 nivåer. Nivå 1 och 2 har ord med 2 ljud och nivå 3 har ord med 3 ljud.
Här ska man både läsa och lyssna på ord och busord och avgöra vilket ord som är skrivet i maskinen.
Nivå 1 har ord med ljuden s f v m n l a u å e i y, alla uthållbara ljud.
Nivå 2 har ljuden p t k b d g r o ä ö + ljuden från nivå 1. Flera av ljuden är stoppljud vilket gör dem svårare att ljuda ihop.
Nivå 3 har samma ljud som nivå 2.
Maskin 3
Maskinen har 4 nivåer. Här finns bara ord med 3 ljud. Samtliga ljud används.
På nivå 1 och 2 ska man avgöra om det blir ett busord eller ett av två ord där det ena ordet låter nästan som busordet. På nivå 3 och 4 avgör man om man hör ett busord eller ett riktigt ord i en tävling mellan Ugglan och Busfiguren.
Maskin 4
Här förekommer både 2-ljudsord och 3-ljudsord. Man får välja ord att läsa själv eller lyssna på. Man kan välja att spela in orden och sedan lyssna till sig själv. Som stöd i läsandet finns bilder från alfabetet.
Läsmaskiner är optimerad för användning på iPad men fungerar även på iPhone 6 och uppåt. Risken är att skärmstorleken är för liten på t.ex. iPhone SE.
Läsmaskiner är utvecklad med produktionsstöd från Specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheten.
