- sich mit Bildungsanbietern und -institutionen zu verknüpfen, die Teil des "Mein Bildungsraum"-Netzwerks sind.
- persönliche Informationen (Profilinformationen, Lern- und Kompetenzstände, Bildungsnachweise) anzulegen und nach Bedarf zu teilen.
- auf einen Blick zu sehen, welche Informationen und Dateien, wann und mit wem geteilt wurden.
Mit der digitalen Vernetzungsinfrastruktur plant das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) einen digitalen Bildungsraum zu schaffen, der individuelle Bildungswege fördert und eine nahtlose digitale Lernreise von der Grundschule bis ins hohe Alter ermöglicht. Um dies zu erreichen, verknüpft "Mein Bildungsraum" bestehende Bildungsangebote miteinander.
Die Vernetzungsinfrastruktur stellt zentrale Funktionen zur Verfügung:
- auf verschiedene Bildungsanbieter mittels Single-Sign-on zugreifen,
- eine Basisidentität anlegen, falls keine Identität eines Netzwerkpartners vorhanden ist,
- passende Bildungsangebote finden,
- die eigene Bildungsreise organisieren.
