When you first open the app, you'll be greeted by six uniquely designed History Hunter characters who will help guide you through the app. Each of the History Hunter characters has a backstory that you can read or listen to, making the app accessible to everyone. You can journey through a William Morris augmented reality art gallery to discover interesting information about him and see unique artwork produced by Year 5 pupils. The app also has a gallery that includes artifacts from the Victorian era, found in Merthyr Tydfil over 100 years ago! The app also has a useful interactive map that highlights seven key locations and landmarks in Merthyr, perfect for visitors planning to see the rich history for themselves.
