Using this app, an instructor can record attendance easily by uploading a class-list and scanning students' QR codes. In this way, recording attendance of 100s student class takes only a few minutes. Attendance can be taken both online and on device at the same time. Moreover user can create classes and publish attendance session through classes.
Students have a complementary free app, MyTA Student.
Moreover, it allows an instructor to create and share polls for which students submit anonymous answers. After a poll is created, it is uploaded to the cloud server, and then it will be recorded to instructor personal space to be used anytime later. Polls and quizzes can be directly distributed through classes.
Third, an instructor can use previously uploaded poll questions to create a quiz and to share it with students. Quizzes can be given to any students, to a predetermined class-list or to only checked-in students during attendance. In this way, an instructor can restrict the access of a quiz to only the present-in-class students.
Fourth, an instructor can share any poll on a community social network. In this way, everyone can browse different polls based on category and keywords, and then can use immediately for a new poll/quiz with/without editing. Instructors can interact with other members by commenting and liking posts.
You may purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an In-App Purchase to unlock rich features provided with MyTA.
