The Prometric Exam test for Nurses is a computer-based test (CBT) that consists of 70 multiple-choice questions. It's only natural that you're nervous about something so new, especially if you've spent your whole academic career taking paper-based tests.
To achieve a passing score on the Prometric Exam for Nurses, you must receive a 70% or higher on each examination.
To pass your Prometric exam test for nurses, you should familiarize repetitively yourself with fundamental nursing concepts since large numbers of those are covered in the Prometric examination.

All nursing practitioners interested in working in Saudi Arabia or other Arab Gulf Countries must take and pass the Saudi Ministry of Health (PROMETRIC- RN) examination. After passing this test, Nurses with two years of experience can work as registered nurses, and Diploma Nurses with two years of experience can work as nurse technicians.
For foreign nurses those who are interested to work in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar are required to qualify the Prometric Exam for Nurses.
In the Oman Prometric and Saudi, Qatar Exam for Nurses, examinees are given two and half hours to finish 70 and 100 questions in multiple-choice format. It is a computer-based test, and the result of the examination is available immediately after the exam.
Whereas the prometric exam for Nurse Specialist is composed of:
- Assessment – 10%
- Nursing Problem – 6%
- Planning – 20%
- Implementation – 50%
- Evaluation – 14%
