Over the past 10 years, the Lehrerfreund grading scale calculator has been used millions of times on the web. We are constantly updating and optimising the calculation logic - there are probably not many people who have thought about grading scales as much as we have.

Numerous setting options
Although the operation is very simple (enter maximum score, "calculate" written student performance, press grade key), you have numerous setting and adjustment options, for example:
Counting half points
Output as whole, half, third, quarter, tenth marks
Different grading scales (Germany 1-6, Germany upper level 15-0, Switzerland 6-1, Austria 1-5; any own numerical scales can be set, e.g. 100-0)
Different calculation logics:
classical grading scale (linear distribution)
Base clef (defined minimum/maximum limits)
Grading scale with kink (e.g. to enter pass limit) [sic!>]
Abitur key (German KMK standard, takes into account deviation in Baden-Württemberg)
IHK grading scale
Errors grading scale (e.g. for vocabulary tests)
Further functions
Save your grading scales with name and comment ("Dictation class 8b - difficult") - This way you can access the same grading scales several times or have your grading scales at hand in case of discussion with students and parents.
Export your grading scales as PDF - for sharing, printing, archiving
