Trail Explorer by CTRMA provides a captivating and educational experience for all ages. Use this free app to enhance your journey along our trails. Learn about the history, native plants and animals of the Texas Hill Country, and the people, history and culture of Austin’s East Side.
On the 45SW Trail, you can watch as prehistoric sea creatures animate in life-size form right before your eyes, witness the majesty of a towering Live Oak Tree as it grows from the ground up or take a deeper look at the caves below the surface in Central Texas.
On the 183 Trail, you can watch a Tejano band play a personal concert, unlock a life-size hidden local Austin mural, or enter a portal to the Montopolis Truss Bridge in the late 1930’s.
